I named this project is "Mutt" because its a mix of many different ceramic shapes. I used a slab for the base of it then the rest was just various coils except for the the ball shapes on it which i just rolled a boll of clay then cut it in half and stuck it on there. For the color i used the metalic green for half then used blue for the other half.
This projects name would be "Dragon insense" because its a dragon that holds insense in its mouth. A slab was used for the base and for the wings and coils for the majority of the body except for the horns and the eyes. I was inspired to make this project because when I made it it was near christmas and my step father loves dragons and insenses so I made him a dragon insense holder for christmas.
Named "Rebel Mug" because it has spikes and different various shapes and I picture a rebel drinking from it every time I see it. I used a slab for the actual mug part of it then made little balls and squished them below the rim. There was a star shaped cookie cutter I used for the star and then added the the spikes with small coils and put a point onto them. The handle was also a coil and the base was made from a slab.
Sattelite is the name of this certian project because the top of it folds open to look like a a sattelite dish. I did this one on the wheel and started to make a normal cup but decided to make it unique and made the top fan out causing its beautifulness that it now has.
This bowls name is "Chex Mix" because it looks like a bowl that you would put chex mix in during a foot ball game or some other event. This one was also made on the wheel as you can see is just a normal bowl so i just used the same technique that everyone else uses so its not unique but still beautiful in its own way.
The project your seeing I named "Mini Pot" because its a miniature sized pot but still has the strength of a normal sized pot. Being made on the wheel I started to make a mini bowl but i decide to take my thumb and index finger to pinch the top while making it to make it look as it does now.
Much like the chex mix bowl this one is named "Chex Mix" 2 because its pretty much the same as the other one and I would put chex mix in it. I also made this one on the wheel and like the other bowl this one is also just a plain bowl but is still beautiful.
This bowl has no name for it lost in a battle between a god and the cracken so it was shamed. I used a slab and put it into a plastic bowl for a mold and the rest was easy so i smoothed it out and painted it with underglaze.
Being the mother of the bowl right above it this bowl was named big mamma since its big and is the mother of the other bowl. I also used slabs and a plastic bowl mold to create its beauty and painted it with underglaze. I chose to paint it that way because that sun symbol you see right there is my symbol and Love the sun and I put that symbol every way I go.
The name of this project is "Handy" because its a hand hehehehe. when Mr. Smith told our class to make a pinch pot I knew exactly what to do so i took a fairly good sized chunk of clay then slamed my hand into it until it was squished to the right size then I pinched the side of the fingers up so the hand would be more defined.
This little bugger has'nt been named because its one of my least favorite projects. When I made this project it was toward the beginning of the year so my wheel skills werent the best and thats why it doesnt look that good.
Now this One would be named "Little Bowleyo". I made this one on the wheel and of course had some help with how to make it so thin and even from my friend Zach Abel but other than that it was all on me.
"Big Bowleyo" is the name of this beauty. I came to class being really bored so I threw a huge chunk of clay on the wheel and made this here huge bowl just for the heck of it. This project in general is one of the best wheel project that Ive made so Im quite proud of it.
this would be the greatest mug I have ever created and i take dride in it. it was of course done on the wheel and then used the wooden rib and a needle tool to put the abstract art on the sides of it. and also a coil was used for the handle and that would be it.
