Metal Muggy
This is a side project mug that went with my metal looking fridge project that I did. This mug is simpley made by useing a slab for the bottom and the side parts of it. I made a circle slab on the bottom then took a longer slab and put it along the sides to create a cup like shape. I overlapped the slab on the side then made little screw looking things then stuck them on the side to make it look like a metal mug. 2011
Metal Fridge
This is my firdge I made for the metal looking project that we had to do. I put slabs on the bottom and all four sides then carved designs on the sides to make it look like a fridge. the only problem with it is that a ot of it fell apart in the kilm when it was being fired like the handle that should be on the front and the bottom has chunks missing from it. I even put little magnet looking peices on the front and sides to make it look real. 2011
Square
This would be my square mug that went with the square vace project. I figured since pretty much all my mugs had handles I did'nt put a handle on this one. This was of course done on the wheel and it turned out alright since I wasnt being proffessional about it it dosnt look perfect but good enough.
Ugly Juggy
The name for this is the ugly jug and it was never fired for the scond time. I made the jug or pot part with coils then smoothed it out then for the lips and mustache I used coils and the rest was just chunks of clays shaped into ears nose and a ghotee. 2011
Eye Pot
This is a pot i made from coils. We were asked to either make it on the wheel or from coils and it had to be like 10" tall. i glazed the out side with this red slip stuff to make it have that rough look then glazed the inside with coal black glaze. I also carved some little design on the side to give it some character. 2011
Bottled Up
This is a bottle that I also created from coils because it would be freakin hard to do on the wheel. I think its about ten 10" tall and i useed a coil to make a handleon the back but it broke off when it was in the kilm being fired. I glazed the outide with a dark blue glaze and also did the same to the inside. 2011
Perfecto
This here mug would be my perfect mug. It is for the most part evenly porportional and there are no cracks or any other kind of disformaties. The design part I kinda took from Mr.Smith Because I was looking at on of his mugs while I was putting my designs on. I glazed it all the same color of glaze and thats about it. 2011
Simply Mug
This mug was a side project that went with a normal project that we had to do. As you can see it wasnt fired for the second time but it is'nt to bad of a mug. I made the handle by taking a coil and a bucket of water then I just smoothed the coil down in the bucket of water with my hands till it was just right to stick on the round mug part that I did on the wheel.
